Accord Pre-Marriage Courses

  1. This group offers Pre-Marriage courses for those planning to get married. Presently, they are seeking volunteers who might train to become Marriage Education Facilitators. If you are interested, and can afford the time, please attend an information night – Monday, 21 June, at 8:00 pm, in the Pastoral Centre, Áras de Brún, Newtownsmyth.
  2. Marriage courses are booked up to November 2004. In future, couples will need to book one year in advance to ensure a place.
  3. Accord are always seeking new people who could train as Marriage Counsellors.

Great win for the Under-12B team, who played Mountbellew Moylough, winning 9-6 to 1-2. Keep it up, lads!


Féile: 24–26 June

The Féile has finally arrived. Next Thursday morning sees Clarinbridge heading off for Dunboyne. The Bridge takes on Dublin in the first match, on 24th, at 7:00 pm in Dunboyne. On Friday 25th, The Bridge takes on Cork in Dunsany at 11:30 am. Later on, Clarinbridge takes on Tipperary [3:30 pm]. Hopefully, we will reach the semi-finals on Friday evening. A parade takes place on Saturday, with the final in the evening. Best of luck to Jerry Hooban and all the lads. Win, lose, or draw; have a great time and enjoy the experience.

Colga FC News

One day Euro Soccer Blitz

Taking place on Sunday, 20 June, at Colga Pitch. Teams will be picked on the day, and leagues will be run for children, aged 7–9 years, and 10–13 years. Free barbeque, treats, light refreshments and medals for all participants. Commencing at noon, and concluding at 5:00 pm. This promises to be a great day for all the family.


Colga/Everton Soccer School

Taking place from 12–16 July, under the direction of Everton coaches, now fully subscribed. Letters of confirmation for acceptance in the school have been posted out to families.
