Second Collection There will be a second collection at Masses next weekend – "Peter's Pence". It is a collection which is taken up all over the Catholic World to assist the Holy Father in the exercise of his Apostolic activities. |
Church-"Gate" Collections As agreed last year, those responsible for "gate" collections should send details to the Parish Newsletter ten days before the weekend of the collection, so that people may come prepared. It was also arranged that these collections be taken up after Mass – so that the celebrant of the Mass gets the opportunity to announce it at the end of Mass. |

Colga FC News One day Euro Soccer Blitz Took place last Sunday, 20 June, at Colga pitch. Over 120 children took part in competitions for 7–9 years and 10–13 years old categories. The day proved to be a great success, and was greatly enjoyed by children and parents, alike. Well done to all the children who took part, and many thanks to all the people who helped out on the day. Colga/Everton Soccer School Taking place from 12–16 July, under the direction of Everton coaches, now fully subscribed. All systems go for what should be a thrilling week! |
