Annual Remembrance Mass On Tuesday next, 30 November, at 7:30 pm, in Clarinbridge Church, the annual remembrance Mass for parishioners who died since November last year, and for relatives of parishioners, elsewhere, will be offered. Everyone is welcome, but, we invite, in particular, the families, relatives, neighbours, and friends of the deceased. We request that each family bring a small bunch of flowers [or, just a single flower], and leave them before the altar before Mass. Also, a member of the family will be asked to light a candle in memory of their loved one during Mass. Please come ten minutes early. Clarinbridge Community Development Association: CCDA is delighted to announce that Galway County Council has agreed to carry out the necessary road-works at Stradbally North, in order to make this potentially dangerous junction on the main Limerick road safer. In order to minimise ongoing disruption, Galway County Council has agreed to carry out these works in conjunction with the current works in progress at the moment. The new system will provide residents of Stradbally North with a right-turning lane to facilitate safe turning off the Limerick road, into Stradbally North. CCDA wishes to thank all who lobbied local representatives regarding this matter, as well as those who assisted with the compilation of data for submission to Galway County Council. |
