The Annual Senior Citizens' party is being held in Paddy Burke's, on Sunday, 27 February, at 5:00 pm.

Killeeneen National School Enrolment

Killeeneen National School is now accepting enrolments for the forthcoming school year, 2005-2006. If you would like to visit the school, you are very welcome. Please contact the school to set up an appointment or to acquire an enrolment form, at 796404.

Set Dancing Classes

Set dancing classes take place on Thursday nights, in the Oyster Manor Hotel, at 8:00 pm. No partner required. Fun atmosphere. All are welcome. Run by the CCDA.

The focus this Lent is on Ethiopia, and, each week, we hope to furnish you with various bits of information on this unfortunate country, e.g. there are 831 million people that go to bed hungry across the world today. Around 500,000 children in Ethiopia will not live until their fifth birthday. In 2001, Ethiopia could spend only $14 per person on health care, compared to $1,935 in Ireland, and $1,989 in the UK.
