First Friday

Holy Communion will be brought to the homes of those unable to come to church; and, also, to the patients in Kilcolgan Nursing Home.

Please let us know if there is anyone who would like to avail of Holy Communion on First Fridays.

Mass in Clarinbridge, on Friday, at 7:00 pm – no morning Mass.

... All involved in a memorable County Senior Hurling victory in Croke Park, led by [Captain] Liam Donoghue, and, with great performances, also, from David Forde and Alan Kerins.

Above all, it was a team and management victory. Go for it on September 11th!

Colga FC News

Training recommences on Saturday, 17 September, at the astroturf, in Oranmore.

Training sessions are as follows:

  • 9:30 am – 11:00 am: age-groups 6, 7, 8, and 9 [boys and girls]
  • 11:00 am – 12:30 pm: age-groups 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 [boys and girls]

Registration will take place on the day. We look forward to seeing you all there.

New members welcome. Registration: €30.

Congratulations to the U-10s on their brilliant win in the Ballindereen Camogie Tournament, last Saturday, and, to Ciara Cormican, on getting the 'Player of the Tournament' title. Well done to all concerned.


*  Training News

  • Gaelic football training for U12s [in preparation for forthcoming championship] commences Tuesday next, 30 August, at the GAA pitch, at 6:30 pm.
  • Gaelic football training for U8s and U10s continues at 6:30 pm, on Wednesday, 31 August. New players are always welcome.
